Pukaar publishes its 1st Book! by Romail Gulzar
‘Before Depart’ is the title of his first book. Romail however, is no stranger to writing poetry since he has been putting words into lyrics for as long as he can remember. The book is a life experience written in a collection of poems and songs, which will take the reader through an emotional journey of true feelings. An easy to read book which will surprise any reader with its honesty but deep felt poetry. Written in Urdu language the book is now available in all major book stores and libraries. Eastlegh Mini Mela
Pukaar was at the heart of the second Eastleigh Mela, which drew 10,000 people to The Point on Saturday 1st July 2007. From Gospel singers to Bhangra dancers, from fashion show to drum workshop, the heart of Eastleigh moved to a vibrant and enriching fusion.

Sparsholt College Countryside Day on Saturday 12th May 2007 was a wonderful, if slightly damp affair. The college celebrated the countryside and its industry with fairground attractions, a climbing wall, birds of prey, steam train rides, tree carving and sheep shearing to name but a few!
